• Powers:
All Or Nothing: Gian utilizes this power by betting on his life essentially. He normally has a coin with him that allows him to do so. If he wins the bet on his life his power and temporarily increased with even heightened senses beyond Kye’s normal ‘Adrenaline Rush’ ability. However this price of power is not without consequence and costs him part of his life energy so it is used sparingly at the urge of Kye. If he loses however he gains nothing and is temporarily vulnerable and a hindrance, and it again will cost him part of his life. This ability relies solely on luck.

• Personality: A confident and flirtatious man that will stop at nothing to con you out of something for his own personal gain. He’s generally very selfish and a bit cocky which can lead to problems. However he also has a sense of pride and only steals from the rich or people who owe him debts. He’s very talkative and loud and isn’t afraid to voice his opinion to you. Gian takes no interest in other’s affairs usually and uses violence to get what he wants. He generally feels entitled to people listening to him when he speaks. He does most of the ‘talking’ in his and Kye’s relationship.

-His pride (He will defend his pride if he is looked down upon/beaten or so on with no matter the cost, he even goes so far as attacking or making cheap shots at Kye when he purposely angers him)
-Confidence (Sometimes he’s generally overconfident and it leads to problems)

• Backstory: Gian spent most of his early life on the streets as a street rat. Not that he didn’t mind the street life it since it was exciting and unpredictable, but he generally was envious as the fact that others had things he seemed to desire beyond the basic necessities that he had. He started out as a pickpocket and he usually ended up unlucky and beaten and more often than not arrested. But as he got used to it he began to become more successful with thieving and progressed to stealing other’s possessions openly. He would only steal from those more fortunate than he never aiming for the lower social class out of courtesy.

Gian eventually started to develop a following as he got older of other thieves gaining their respect from the amounts he stole over the years. He started up a con business with rich gamblers learning sleight of hand and conning them out of their money for himself. Gian began to become cockier as years went on thinking nothing could really stop him and his confidence blinded him to jealousy and greed of the people around him.

During a mission to steal bounty from other criminals Gian stumbled upon a beaten and bound boy by the name of Kye. Finding use for anything put in front of him he proposed a deal if he released the boy he would let him get revenge on the gang as long as he would help him steal him money and become his servant. The boy seeming to be mute and barely understanding English just nodded and followed him after Gian gave him one of his knives to defend himself since he didn’t seem to be in good shape. The initial robbery didn’t seem to go as planned as Kye seemed to go into a full blown rage attacking and slaughtering the gang members before Gian could even do anything about it much less stop him. Still in a rage Kye attacked the stunned Gian ripping off his ear and scarring his face in the process. Gian managed to calm the enraged teen down and forgave him after Kye’s initial adrenaline went down.

Like the agreement Kye became Gian’s servant, almost like his guard dog. However their relationship was rocky at first since Kye had brain damage from his torture and was unable to speak and for the first two years of their relationship Gian taught himself and Kye sign language to be able to communicate. Gian’s lackeys became jealous of their relationship as time went on as Gian gave Kye more privileges than them, trusting Kye more over them as the bond they formed fighting together over the years. The followers eventually had enough and attacked Gian when Kye was out on an errand. Gian being cocky that he would win used his ability and bet on his life but promptly lost making himself vulnerable and costing him part of his life force. Kye returned to Gian being beaten of an inch of his life and his wealth being trashed and flew into a rage promptly killing the human followers. Gian managed to get back on his feet and went back to rebuilding his ‘empire’ with Kye.

Gian eventually getting bored of just stealing from others so easily began a ‘quest’ for power which led him to the doors of the New World Guild for people with abilities like him. Kye was reluctant to follow because of his past with humans not desiring to protect them in the least. Gian eventually managed to coax his best friend into reluctantly following him and he and Kye joined the guild.
• Other:
-He considers his scar from Kye as a love bite more than anything haahaha He actually thinks it makes him look cooler.
-He doesn’t like to get himself disheveled much despite being just as strong as a fighter as Kye) so he lacks experience in certain situations.
-He will generally get involved in a fight if he finds the opponent worthy/strong enough for him; otherwise he’s not interested.
-Has a soft spot for small animals, and children.
-He can be quite cold and merciless if provoked.
-Has a mafia like mentality involving others he trusts; betray his trust and respect however you will make enemies of both him and Kye.
-He can be vain at times.
-Loves money more than women so you can pretty much buy his attention.
-He does have respect for women and will stop advances on them if they wish him to stop.
-His wounds from his beating still hurt him to this day and will bleed if he stresses them too much.
-Likes to be organized and clean with his things he could care less about others property.
-He will risk his life to protect Kye.
